  - the very few earlier maundy sets struck in gold would most                         likely cost around £20,000 these days

Red leather purse with 2002 £5 coin and 2002 50p coin 'for redemption of the               Sovereign's gown, worn on the day of distribution'  -  total £5-50

    White leather purse with 7 full maundy sets and 2 x 3p coins  -  total 76p
    being 'Maundy money, as many pence as the Sovereign is years of age'

    Original letters from Buckingham Palace and Canterbury Cathedral to the              recipient together with the Maundy ceremony order of service booklet

Coins in uncirculated condition, the maundy money in their original transparent                       holders - purses and documents in good condition

  Only 76 men and women received this full maundy distribution in 2002 [the                      Golden Jubilee year] and very few remain intact like this
